1. About These Terms

These terms of service ("Terms") govern your use of the Mieru platform ("Service"), operated by Bloksphere Ltd, a company registered in England & Wales (Company No. 11604463) ("we", "us", "our").

By creating an account or using the Service, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

2. The Service

Mieru is a financial tracking and management tool that allows you to:

• Manually enter and track bank accounts, transactions, budgets, and invoices
• View dashboards and reports of your financial data
• Calculate estimated Zakat amounts
• Compare Shariah-compliant financial products
• Store property documents
• Track investments and market data
• Access financial literacy content (Money School)

3. Important Disclaimers

Mieru is not a financial adviser. The Service is a financial tracking tool and does not provide financial, tax, legal, or religious advice. Any information, calculations, or comparisons provided through the Service are for general informational purposes only. You should consult a qualified professional (financial adviser, accountant, solicitor, or Islamic scholar as appropriate) before making financial decisions.

• Zakat calculations are estimates only. Consult a qualified Islamic scholar for definitive guidance on your Zakat obligations.
• Halal Compare displays Shariah compliance information sourced from providers and third parties. Mieru does not independently certify Shariah compliance. Always verify with the provider and consult a qualified Islamic scholar.
• VAT and tax calculations are basic tracking tools and are not a substitute for professional accounting advice. Mieru is not HMRC-recognised Making Tax Digital (MTD) software.
• Investment and market data is provided for informational purposes only and does not constitute investment advice or a recommendation to buy or sell any security.

4. Account Registration

To use the Service, you must:

• Be at least 18 years old
• Provide accurate and complete registration information
• Keep your password secure and not share it with others
• Notify us immediately of any unauthorised use of your account

You are responsible for all activity under your account.

5. Subscription Plans and Pricing

Free plan: Available at no cost. Includes core features with limits as described on our pricing page.

Paid plans (Plus and Business):

• Paid plans include a 60-day free trial. You will not be charged during the trial period.
• After the trial period, your chosen plan will be billed monthly at the rate displayed at the time of sign-up, unless you cancel before the trial ends.
• You may cancel your subscription at any time through your account settings. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period.
• We do not offer refunds for partial billing periods.
• We reserve the right to change pricing with 30 days' notice. Price changes will not apply until your next billing cycle after the notice period.

6. Your Data

You retain ownership of all financial data you enter into the Service. We process your data in accordance with our Privacy Policy.

You can export your data at any time using the export feature. If you delete your account, your data will be permanently removed within 30 days.

7. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

• Use the Service for any unlawful purpose
• Attempt to gain unauthorised access to the Service or its systems
• Interfere with or disrupt the Service
• Upload malicious content or code
• Use the Service to store data unrelated to financial management
• Resell or redistribute the Service without our written consent

8. Accuracy of Your Data

Mieru relies on data you manually enter. We do not verify the accuracy of information you input. You are responsible for ensuring your financial data is accurate and up to date. Any calculations, reports, or summaries generated by the Service are based on the data you provide and should not be relied upon without independent verification.

9. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law:

• The Service is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied.
• We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or secure.
• We shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the Service.
• Our total liability for any claim arising from or related to the Service shall not exceed the amount you have paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim.
• We are not liable for any financial loss, missed tax obligations, incorrect Zakat calculations, or other consequences arising from reliance on information provided by the Service.

Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits our liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation, or any other liability that cannot be excluded by law.

10. Intellectual Property

The Service, including its design, code, content, and branding, is owned by Bloksphere Ltd and is protected by intellectual property laws. You may not copy, modify, distribute, or reverse engineer any part of the Service.

11. Termination

You may close your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate your account if you breach these Terms or if we discontinue the Service, with reasonable notice where possible.

On termination, your right to use the Service ceases immediately. We will delete your data in accordance with our Privacy Policy.

12. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. We will notify you of material changes by email or through the platform at least 30 days before they take effect. Continued use of the Service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.

13. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes arising from these Terms or the Service shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
